Drainage trays (gutters and channels) have one purpose - to drain water from roads, sidewalks, railways, and any type of engineering communications.

Usually, drainage gutters come in the following types:

- Curved or round.
Practically always in the design of a drainage tray or channel, there is a grate that serves as a kind of filter to prevent unwanted elements from entering the surrounding environment, such as large food waste, plastic products, leaves, and any other trash that can litter the drainage channel.
The grate on top of the tray is designed to withstand the main physical load. Thanks to the grate, drainage channels can serve for many years, practically without losing their properties.
Some advanced models have additional elements such as valves or locks. Such additions are necessary in industries where water cleanliness plays an important role in ensuring safety during work.
MATERIALS OF MANUFACTURE
The list of materials is very wide. Drainage trays can be made of expanded clay, cast iron, various types of concrete, special types of plastic, but most often you can find gutters or trays made of stainless steel. Modern drainage trays are often made by combining different materials to achieve the highest efficiency in a specific situation. For example, a cast iron grate can be used while the frame itself is made of concrete. The main requirement for the product is the ability to withstand high loads depending on the location where the tray will be used.
To ensure that the drainage tray works properly and without interruptions, it is necessary to regularly clean the channels. This applies to channels equipped with special grates. With high loads, cleaning should be done monthly.
