Production of screens
Drainage grates are installed on top of water drainage trays of surface water drainage systems and perform several tasks at once. Namely, they prevent the drainage system from getting dirty from debris, protect drainage channels during the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, and also eliminate the danger of vehicles and people moving over the drainage channel.

Main materials for manufacturing grates
The production of grates for drainage systems is unthinkable without cast iron, galvanized and stainless steel, copper and brass. In addition, it is possible to manufacture plastic grates based on polypropylene and ASB plastic. Cast iron and galvanized stainless steel are the most acceptable for water drainage grates, as these materials unlike others are not subject to corrosion.
The use of materials made of stainless steel greatly increases the service life of the water supply channel in harsh environmental conditions. Drainage grates are produced in cellular and slotted forms, depending on the location of partitions inside the structure.
Standard storm grates are mainly used in pedestrian, courtyard, and park areas, in the construction of cottages and houses. Currently, special galvanized steel selective grates are produced for installation in places with maximum loads: in warehouse, customs, industrial, gas station facilities, take-off and landing strips, and highways.
Galvanized grates have the advantage of being lighter and stronger, more elastic, always having a beautiful appearance, and not requiring corrosion protection.
What materials will be used in the future for grate production
Currently, with the development of modern technologies, it is possible to use non-natural materials in the production of drainage grates, namely polymers, which have a number of advantages. Polymer drainage grates are made of synthetic fibers, specially woven and thermally bonded together. In addition to their main task, drainage grates also serve the function of aesthetically decorating landscape design.
