Mud and moisture are the main "enemies" of desired cleanliness in any room. Of course, you can try with all your might to maintain order, but it will require both time and additional finances. To solve the problem of excess moisture and dirt that usually enters the room with visitors' shoes, moisture-absorbing mats will help - a revolutionary invention that allows you to maintain cleanliness for a long time.
Moisture-absorbing mats are designed for use in high-traffic areas, which allows maintaining cleanliness in a certain room with minimal effort even in rainy or snowy weather. Most often, such mats are used near the entrance to the room, but they can also be used in car interiors.
Several layers of different materials are used in the production of such mats. The first - upper - layer is nylon pile, which effectively cleans dirt, moisture, and snow from shoe soles in just a few steps. This pile is twisted in a way that creates something like an air cushion, into which dirt falls inside, leaving the surface of the mat clean and aesthetically pleasing. The inner layer of the mat is one hundred percent natural polypropylene on a vinyl or rubber base, which does not contain polyvinyl chloride and is therefore completely safe for health with constant use.
The advantage of moisture-absorbing mats is that they are resistant to abrasion, the influence of negative environmental factors, constant physical loads, do not wrinkle or delaminate. Despite their lightness and relatively small thickness, a wet mat covering can hold 6-8 liters of moisture per square meter.
In addition to the main function, moisture-absorbing mats can also be used as a protection element against falls or injuries on slippery surfaces due to their rubberized base. The base of such mats is usually studded, so the product lies firmly on the floor. Additionally, the edges of the mats are treated with a rubber edge that prevents the product from curling during use.
