Stamped grids are made of stainless steel or aluminum, and in some cases, as needed, from other materials such as wood or plastic. The most common material is steel or wire with sizes of 7-12 mm, which provide the finished product with a hardness of 90-110 kg/mm2. Floor stamped grids made of aluminum are less resistant to indentation and prone to deformation due to external influences, while steel grids, on the contrary, are characterized by reliability and high strength even during long periods of use.
On one side, stamped grids have a smooth surface that prevents rapid wear of the sensitive sifting material. The process of manufacturing such grids is both simple and complex: using radio-controlled computers, the production lines are controlled, where load-bearing steel strips are cut out. Then, pressing of covering strips occurs under high pressure. The exceptional feature of this manufacturing method is that the cells of stamped grids have precise dimensions. The finished grids are framed with a flat framing strip or a T-shaped profile.Stamped grids are typically used for decorating ventilation openings, distributing air coming from air ducts, and for recirculating air back into the air duct. Most often, stamped grids on walls, floors, and ceilings are used in air heating systems.Depending on the need, they can be made with the required type of perforation, such as small or large squares, flowers, or circles. Grids are most commonly made in sizes of 15*15 cm, 21*21 cm, 21*25 cm.
